Kim Giannone

With over thirty-five years of experience in the financial services industry, the U.S. Air Force and private business, Kim is uniquely qualified to provide her clients the highest level of professional and personal service. Her experience enables her to relate closely to her clients in setting investment and financial objectives.

 Kim holds the designation of ACCREDITED ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (AAMS). The AAMS designation means that Kim has completed advanced studies in financial, retirement and estate planning. As a Director at Baird, she is a Financial Advisor and a discretionary Private Portfolio Investment Manager. Kim has also completed a Certified Portfolio Manager course with extensive study in advanced investment analysis, portfolio construction and testing through Colombia University. She specializes in disciplined portfolio management that utilizes a variety of investment strategies and risk management techniques. A magna cum laude graduate of Christopher Newport University, Virginia, Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Communications.

 Kim served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for five years and received the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious service. She also owned and operated a small business specializing in the training of horses and riders.

 Active in the community, Kim is a past president of the Grand Junction Rotary Club and past Chairman of the Board of both the Western Colorado Community Foundation and Western Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross. She and her husband, Joe, enjoy raising and showing Bernese Mountain Dogs.
